A great idea for a moneymaker is doing yard work. With a parent's permission, you could offer to rake leaves in a neighbor's yard or plant flowers in your own yard.

Feeling Nutty
This is a great party game, especially if you have a fall birthday. Draw a squirrel on a large piece of paper or poster board. Cut out paper nuts from brown construction paper; there should be one for each guest. Write one girl's name on the front of each nut, and put a piece of tape on the back. Ask a parent to blindfold the guests, and everyone has to try to get her nut as close to the squirrel's mouth as she can. After everyone has had a turn, the nut closest to the squirrel's mouth wins. It's like Pin the Tail on the Donkey with a twist!

Pizza Crackers
This is a great snack to serve at parties or share with your friends. Have an adult cut pepperoni into small slices and put them in a bowl with cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and pizza sauce. Mix everything together and then spread it in between two crackers.

Making Notes
After each violin lesson, I go home and make a chart of how I will practice for the rest of the week. I figure out which song I will practice each day. This keeps me organized and on top of my practicing.

Stained Glass
I like to make drawings that look like stained glass. On a plain sheet of paper, use a black marker to create the outlines of the 'stained glass.' Using colored markers, fill the space inside the black outlines. I like to decorate my room with my stained-glass drawings.

Quiet, Please
If the children you are babysitting for are being noisy, try getting their attention by whistling, clapping your hands, or turning the lights on and off. When everyone is listening, nicely ask the kids to quiet down.

You Grow, Girl!
Make a flower garden in your bedroom. Draw green grass at the bottom of a large piece of poster board. Purchase several fabric flowers from a craft store and cut off the petals. Draw stems and middles for your flowers, and then use a glue stick to attach the fabric petals to the drawn flowers. Let dry.
